Pilar is the heart of suburban Gran Buenos Aires: dozens of *countries* (gated communities), corporate parks and good schools strung along the Panamericana highway, an hour northwest of the city.

It is where many Buenos Aires families went looking for green space and security, and it has the amenities to match. Like Tigre, this is a house-and-land market rather than an apartment market, so the square-metre number is indicative only, the real conversation here is about the *country*, the lot and the lifestyle.

As of late 2025, published asking prices in Pilar sit around USD 2,100 / m² for an apartment (Zonaprop index). Keep one thing in mind: those are asking prices, not closings.
